Frankfurt - Cologne - Amsterdam (450 km)

Meet in Frankfurt and depart for Cologne to visit the famous Cologne Cathedral, the third-tallest church in the world (157 m). Construction took 632 years (1248–1880). Continue to Amsterdam, the capital of the Netherlands, and visit the lively Dam Square, one of the city’s oldest and most important squares, built on the original dam on the Amstel River—where Amsterdam began and a witness to the Dutch Golden Age. Optional Amsterdam Canal Cruise (at own expense) to experience the romance of this canal city.

Sunday

Amsterdam - Zaanse Schans - Hague - Rotterdam - Antwerp (208 km)

After breakfast, visit Zaanse Schans (Windmill Village)—a tranquil, postcard-perfect place. Then head to The Hague, the “Royal City” of the Netherlands, to admire the solemn Peace Palace, a landmark of international law with neo-Renaissance architecture. Continue via Rotterdam to see the iconic Cube Houses (designed by Dutch architect Piet Blom, inspired by the idea of “living on the rooftops of the city”) and the Markthal, the world’s first “arched market hall.”

Tulip Season Note (Mar 19–May 10, 2026): During the Netherlands tulip season, the tour will NOT visit Zaanse Schans. It will visit Keukenhof Gardens instead. More info: www.keukenhof.com

Monday

Antwerp - Brugge - Brussels (210 km)

After breakfast, travel to Bruges, a classic medieval town with well-preserved centuries-old buildings, especially early Gothic architecture. Visit the Belfry of Bruges (83 m), crowned with a golden top; its 47-bell carillon plays every 15 minutes. See the Bruges City Hall, a textbook example of Gothic architecture (built in 1376 and one of Belgium’s oldest town halls), with 48 niches displaying statues of past rulers. The Basilica of the Holy Blood is also worth a visit. Then continue to Brussels, Belgium’s capital—an enchanting, multi-layered city. Visit the Grand-Place, the futuristic landmark Atomium, and the Manneken Pis statue.

Tuesday

Brussels - Paris (313 km)

After breakfast, head to Paris, the romantic capital filled with history and fashion. Visit the Palace of Versailles (optional, at own expense), stroll through the glittering Hall of Mirrors, and experience the Baroque grandeur of the Louis XIV era. The geometric hedges, fountains, and sculptures in the gardens showcase the symmetry of French landscape design. For a different perspective of the city, you may choose an optional Seine River Cruise (at own expense).

Enjoy the Champs-Élysées and, depending on your interests, you may visit the Fragonard Perfume Museum or the Montparnasse Tower Observation Deck (optional). Admire the grandeur of the Arc de Triomphe, the Egyptian obelisk at Place de la Concorde, and the iconic Eiffel Tower—a must-see in Paris. If time allows, you may also shop at Galeries Lafayette.

Thursday

Paris - Luxembourg (406 km)

Depart Paris for Luxembourg, known as the “Pocket Kingdom” and the “Land of a Thousand Castles.” Visit Constitution Square and the Luxembourg Gorge (Pétrusse/Alzette Valley area). The deep gorge, with the Alzette River winding like a ribbon far below, is lined with steep rock walls dotted with fairy-tale towers and fortifications. Constitution Square, perched on the cliff edge, is the best viewpoint for panoramic scenery.

Friday

Luxembourg - Trier - Heidelberg - Frankfurt (360 km)

After breakfast, travel to Trier, one of Germany’s oldest towns with over 2,000 years of history, famous as the birthplace of Karl Marx. Visit the Karl Marx House (Brückenstraße 10) to step into the early life of this great thinker. Then see the iconic symbol of “Rome of the North,” the Porta Nigra (Black Gate), built from over 20,000 sandstone blocks; its dark color comes from centuries of weathering and smoke. Continue to Heidelberg to visit Heidelberg University (founded in 1386), and, if you wish, the Heidelberg Castle (optional, at own expense), and stroll across the Old Bridge. Return to Frankfurt to conclude the tour.
